Step 1. Open migSO via App Launcher

Click “App Launcher” and search & select migSO.

Step 2. Select Clone Wizard

Now click migSO “Clone Wizard” menu.

Step 3. Select Metadata Item

Select the metadata item to clone (e.g., Custom Object).

Step 4. Select Source Org

Select the source org or connect a new one. To add a new org, click on the ‘+’ icon, enter details like org name, user name, password, and security token, and click on the Save button.

Step 5. Choose Objects & Deploy

Select the custom objects to clone.

Edit the Object name by clicking on the Object Label. After this, you can select the fields, validation rule, record type, and field set to deploy. Now, Click Clone Object

Step 6. Review Deployment Status

Review the deployment status and click Set Up The Field Permission.

Step 7. Set Fields Permission

You can now set permissions or choose to do it later. If now, choose permissions for each profile and click Deploy Permissions.

Step 8. Download Report

Review the deployment status, download the report, or restart the clone wizard.

  Going through the Migration Wizard Logs

  You can access the deployment history by moving to Migration Wizard Logs. You’ll find a list of all metadata operations executed on your org with specified dates.

  

• Click on the deployed Custom Object here.

  

  Here you will get the record detail of the currently deployed metadata item.

  
• To download the deployment report in Excel format, go to the Related tab and click on the file.
